Two hundred kilograms of cocaine, with a market value of around 16 million euros, have been seized in Rome during a police operation.
Narcotics was found in the apartment of a 23-year-old man of Albanian origin, who has been arrested.
According to Italian authorities, the cocaine was divided into 191 packages, around 8 doses.
The young man's apartment had been turned into a logistics center for the storage and distribution of drugs.
During the search, police also found a firearm, ammunition and around 30 thousand euros in cash, suspected to have been derived from criminal activities.
