Today marks 113 years since the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, wrote in a Facebook post that the Armed Forces, with their commitment, dedication and professionalism, have successfully managed to rise to the task of ensuring the independence and defense of the country.

Today, on the day of the founding of the Armed Forces, we respectfully honor the contribution, sacrifices and valuable service of all FARSH personnel who have served the homeland with patriotism, loyalty and discipline for these 113 years.
The Armed Forces, with their commitment, dedication and professionalism, have successfully managed to rise to the task of ensuring the independence and defense of the country.
Participation in NATO, EU, and UN missions and operations makes us proud and valuable contributors to collective security.
Gratitude to every member, girl and boy, woman and man of the Armed Forces for their service to the homeland!
